TrustMark

TrustMark is a government-endorsed quality scheme for work carried out in and around the home. Its website provides business searches and information about the scheme for consumers and registered businesses.

Published information and service routes cover registered-business searches, home-improvement information and scheme standards. Check the business's relevant registration and the scope of the work. Scheme membership and a directory listing should be considered alongside written terms, the responsible contractor and any separate regulatory or consumer-advice requirements.

For related tasks, TrustMark can be considered alongside Citizens Advice for independent advice, everyday practical problems and Citizens Advice Scotland for scottish advice access, money and everyday problems. These resources cover adjoining parts of the subject; each publishes its own information and handles its own service, access arrangements or applications.
