Sport Wales

Sport Wales is the national organisation for developing and supporting sport and physical activity in Wales. Its website provides information about its work, funding, participation and resources for the sports sector.

Published information and service routes cover Welsh sport and activity, funding information and sector resources. Check the intended users, location and current conditions of a programme or opportunity. A national development body, governing body, local club and venue have different roles and publish their own practical arrangements.

For related tasks, Sport Wales can be considered alongside parkrun UK for local events, participation information and BBC Sport for sports news, results and live reporting. These resources cover adjoining parts of the subject; each publishes its own information and handles its own service, access arrangements or applications.
