Nexus

Nexus is the Tyne and Wear Passenger Transport Executive. Its website explains its transport work and services, with routes to Metro and other transport information and the wider regional journey-planning resources.

Published information and service routes cover Tyne and Wear Metro, transport services and regional travel information. Use the current route for the particular journey, ticket or service enquiry. Regional travel information and the operator's live notices provide different parts of the picture, especially where planning information moves to a new regional portal.

For related tasks, Nexus can be considered alongside Transport for London for london journey planning, service status and Transport for Greater Manchester for greater manchester journeys, bee network information. These resources cover adjoining parts of the subject; each publishes its own information and handles its own service, access arrangements or applications.
