Driver & Vehicle Agency

The Driver & Vehicle Agency provides driver and vehicle services within its Northern Ireland responsibilities. Its official information helps people locate the appropriate guidance and service route for Northern Ireland tasks.

Published information and service routes cover driver services, vehicle testing and Northern Ireland motoring information. Check whether DVA or DVLA is responsible for the exact service you need. Northern Ireland's licensing and testing arrangements cannot be inferred simply from a Great Britain motoring link.

For related tasks, Driver & Vehicle Agency can be considered alongside nidirect for jobs and skills, benefits and public services and Northern Ireland Executive for northern ireland government, departments and policies. These resources cover adjoining parts of the subject; each publishes its own information and handles its own service, access arrangements or applications.
