HathiTrust

HathiTrust is a partnership of research institutions and libraries supporting a large digital collection and research resources. Its website provides catalog search, collection information, and access options for eligible material and users.

Full-text availability depends on rights, location, institutional participation, and the particular item. A catalog record is different from permission to read or download the complete work. Researchers should inspect the edition and access conditions and use their institution's supported route where applicable.

For related tasks, HathiTrust can be considered alongside British Library for collections and research, library access and National Library of Scotland for scottish collections, research information. These resources cover adjoining parts of the subject; each publishes its own information and handles its own service, access arrangements or applications.
