Shelter Cymru

Shelter Cymru provides independent housing advice and works on housing issues in Wales. Its website helps people explore homelessness, renting and other practical questions about having a safe home.

Published information and service routes cover Welsh housing advice, homelessness and renting and finding a home. Use the Welsh advice route and check how to access help for the particular issue. Local authorities and landlords have different responsibilities, while England, Scotland and Northern Ireland have separate housing advice and public-service arrangements.

For related tasks, Shelter Cymru can be considered alongside Rightmove for property search, homes to buy or rent and Zoopla for property listings, sale and rental searches. These resources cover adjoining parts of the subject; each publishes its own information and handles its own service, access arrangements or applications.
