Coursera

Coursera provides online courses and learning programmes from universities and other organisations. Visitors can explore subjects, review course outlines and compare study formats. The website is useful for developing professional skills or investigating a new field. Enrolment conditions, assessment, certificates and fees vary by course and programme, so the individual offering should be reviewed.

Coursera presents learning opportunities associated with a range of education and industry providers. An individual course, certificate or degree listing explains its own subject, level and format. Identifying the provider and the kind of learning outcome being offered is useful when comparing a short learning activity with a more extensive programme.

It is useful for exploring a subject, learning activity or skill-development goal. Its focus includes University and professional courses, Course outlines and study options and Certificates and learning programmes, helping a learner connect the broad educational offering with the individual course, level or format relevant to the learning enquiry.

On Coursera, the study and learning areas shown on the official site include Degrees, Business and Data science.
