MIT OpenCourseWare

MIT OpenCourseWare publishes teaching materials from Massachusetts Institute of Technology courses. Visitors can browse subjects and access available lecture notes, assignments and other course resources.

It supports independent learning and teaching preparation. Materials are openly accessible course content rather than enrollment in an MIT degree, and resource coverage varies between published courses.

For related tasks, MIT OpenCourseWare can be considered alongside OpenLearn for free short courses, open university learning resources and FutureLearn for online short courses, professional development. These resources cover adjoining parts of the subject; each publishes its own information and handles its own service, access arrangements or applications.
