Tumblr

Tumblr combines blogging, social sharing and interest communities. Users can publish and discover posts containing text, images and other media, then follow blogs and topics that interest them. Its website is useful for exploring creative communities and maintaining a personal or subject-focused blog within the platform's social publishing environment.

The useful starting point is the people, community or subject a visitor wants to follow. Its main functions include Blogs and publishing, Creative communities and Posts and interest discovery, helping distinguish the kinds of shared spaces, published material and interaction available through this particular platform.

The official Tumblr site includes sections for Communities and Videos.
